Crumbles

A barren brethren
A parched pulse beat
An immotile methodology
A crowded hollow street

Breeding in liquidating love
Thriving on notions of normalcy
And still dying a little within
From all things I couldn’t be

Lipstick stains and paper planes
A heart burning recklessly
Refusing to abide by
Being the things I shouldn’t be

Cold people get left behind
But excessively warm ones burnt my tongue
So loneliness nurtured me
Just guess who died really young

  1. love how you’re able to weave in such a great verbosity while also managing to keep everything concise with eloquent delivery, great work!! :’)
